A little light in the darkness

Yesterday I picked up a tweet that really struck home; it was the right thing at the right time. I retweeted it and also posted it on Facebook. I wanted to use it in today's blip but took a while to get an image to go with it. I think it ties back to an earlier blip.

I know I've colour-popped this but it gives the image as I saw it. This little candle-holder sits in the garden for those warm evenings when I sit outside and read and, yes, there is a candle burning in it tonight.

And the tweet? "It isn't what happens to us that causes us to suffer; it's what we say to ourselves about what happens."
