Parawaiting
There is an offshoot to the sport of paragliding. This is known as parawaiting. Most, nay all, paraglider fliers take part in the sport of parawaiting. It involves standing or sitting on a hill, either in groups or on your own, and waiting for the wind to drop or increase or the fog to go away or the thermals to form or the rain to stop. It is a very easy sport to participate in but you must have the correct gear - it is no use turning up with a tatty duvet cover and an old motorcycling helmet otherwise people will think you are daft.
