Sign of the Times

Question :- Why should a "Child on Board" sign in your back window succeed in moderating the road manners of hooligan drivers?
We had another overnighter with Euan last night. he slept right through and needed waking up as he had an early medical appointment. I say "he slept"; we, on the other hand, were awake for a fair part of the night listening to his sleep noises - whuffles, snuffles and general baby noises. Then, when he would go quiet, Mag had to check just to make sure he was ok.
When Mag eventually woke Euan for his breakfast, she was treated to a great big beaming smile - until he realised that this was not his mum! However, a nice bottle soon restored Euan's good humour.
Later, a beautiful day and much outdoor work done. Grass scarified and trimmed then garden furniture lugged out of the garage for the summer and a wee tidy up in the garage.
Time now to chill before bed and hope for another good day tomorrow.
