A red flower photographed in UV

This is a red gerbera daisy photographed in the UV only and then tuned into black and white. To make this experiment really work I am going to really need to figure you how to do macro with my Fuji IS-1 (forensics camera). I guess it will be a learning experience.
I give thanks for learning (teaching an old dog some new tricks) and light unseen.
