Emirates Palace

Day 2 in Abu Dhabi

A nice relaxing day at the beach during the day to really recharge the batteries - unfortunately 3 of our party managed to sunburn themselves quite badly. For once I was quite sensible and didn't get burnt!

Then, the main attraction, dinner at Hakkasan in the Emirates Palace. A Michelin star resturant no less and an amazing Chinese restaurant. The food was incredible. We shared all the dishes but every single one was perfect and I could not pick my favourite, I loved them all!
Although amazingly Jen's favourite was the red snapper - Jen has never really like fish, in fact it would be classed as her ;food hell' if she was on one of those cookery programmes. So for her to say it was her favourite means it must have been pretty special!

Afterwards we had a couple of drinks outside. The temperature was just right for a nice relaxing evening and great to be able to spend it with family.

I think we will always treasure this evening as it truly was an amazing experience
