The garden

I didn't have to leave home for this one. I started the garden 20 years ago with the advantage of a number of existing mature tree ferns and eucalypts which over time have been supplemented with plantings of perennials and non-natives mainly. The garden is enclosed by a gully (or glen) with an easterly aspect which is ideal for cultivating ferns. Ferns and hostas (aka ice-cream for snails) are my favourites.
