Reaching this hidden destination after going through a lot of bumps and dusts and finally climbing a steep face of the hills, you can hear the pin drop silence reigning over this picturesque little village called Wakha situated in the East District and surrounded on three sides by hills and mountains.

The silence is broken by the palm saw working amidst the little huts and then by the cheerful sounds of children playing in the evening.

At dusk enjoy, picnic style in the open, hot red tea, chilly bora, potato bora, maroi bora, koukha bora, onion bora and papad followed by betel procured down from the little village hotel.
