It is Ben's birthday today.

He decided a few weeks ago to get his record player out after a weekend with his sister. Sadly it wouldn't work so he got himself I have got him a new one and an a new Amp also for his birthday pressie. I have been serenaded all afternoon with various crap classic records. The kids wanted to know what the funny CD things were...

In other news - today we also got the chickens to go with the Eglu I blipped a week ago. They are beautiful and we are soooo excited - I have taken many pictures but I shall take even more tomorrow so I can introduce them. Watching them is better than watching the telly!

PS I am currently "enjoying" Jimi Hendrix 'Are You Experienced'. Deep joy...
