It feels like summer

...although barely spring, really, as these are very new leaves on a Japanese Maple in Roundhay Park Friends' Garden.

I'm sure someone can point out to me that it's actually something else, like the polite couple who told me that the rhodedendrons I was pointing out to the kids were actually azaeleas... I'm not known for my plant-identifying skills as can be seen in earlier blips!

Had a glorious day, more ice cream, still managed to lose 3lb at fat fighters weigh-in, and got some unexpected sunburn to boot.
