Farm

One-to-one day in the house. I got the eldest daughter to entertain and we did loads. Ended up at the nearby Gorgie City Farm. Must have been there so many times over the years but it's always great fun with a decent cafe, playground, oh, and animals. And free to get in (donations welcome). Or you can buy produce and tell yourself that's a sort of equivalent to an entrance fee - looking forward to those freshly-laid duck eggs that found their way home with us.

First picnic tea of the year out in the park and then a bit of music in the house before bedtime which got verdicts ranging from "this is boring music" to "I quite like this". A huge favourite of mine, from the fantastic debut album Milk Eyed Mender, this is Joanna at her finest.
