Puffins! Ferry to Isle of May

Yay! We made it to the Island of May today on the Isle of May Ferry.

And what a fabulous trip it was. Bird life in abundance, lots of grey seals, great weather and no one was sick on the way back.

Took hundreds of photographs. But the puffins are our favourite. It was too early for them to be nesting, but they're gathering in the sea off shore at the Island of May, and making occasional flights over the island to check out their nesting spots.

Sooo much better than our trip to Lundy last summer.

Should spend all our holidays at Sandcastle Cottage Crail :)
