Gutted?

A roaring inferno took hold in a Haddington Public House at approximately 15:00hrs this afternoon.

A Fire Service spokesman said "unfortunately our water supply ran out due to the ferocity of the flames, but luckily a large supply of Deuchars Ale was on hand - we used the entire stock, but luckily saved the premises".

A local resident, and customer of the Tyneside Taven who wanted only to be refered to as Mr S***h said "I'm gutted".
