How to end a beautiful day....

It's been a great day. My daughter had her birthday party yesterday, and one of her friends stayed over. It went seamlessly- we even had time to watch the Grand Prix this morning. Once we delivered Hannah back home, I took my daughter and youngest son swimming. It was so warm this morning that we went into the outdoor pool, which was quite bracing, but almost empty.

After an hour swimming, back home for a nice lunch, then took the dog to Monifieth beach, where he fetched sticks for ages, bounding through the water with such simple joy.

My wife made a Thai curry, then I poured myself the subject of this blip....
For anybody who loves a single malt, the Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottle some exquisite examples of whisky heaven. This is my perfect ending to a lovely, family-centred day.
