We've had a fab day. Brilliant company, happy times and great weather. We went to church this morning. She was exceptionally happy to see the cousins when she got in the car. She played nicely in creche. I was on duty and she happily accepted me cuddling another little one for quite a long time.

After church, the Cousins and co came round for lunch. We had a nice half hour just looking after the Cousins whilst their mum was on the phone to India sorting out an urgent work matter from home! All of us had a great but rather hyper bouncy time after lunch, it was a great time.

Not long after they'd gone, Granny and Grandad arrived. I got a card and present from Katie, complete with artwork. We all packed up and headed off to the beach. As soon as she saw the sea, and was in her wetsuit, she was on a mission to get in! It was still a little chilly but she was excited to be in there. She built her first sandcastles - and didnt even think to knock them down! But the biggest hit of the afternoon was her pink inflatable beach ball. She was smitten with it! We went for a drink in a cafe and beach ball even ended up having a seat of its own and being cuddled in the car (along with Monkey) on the way home.

Granny and Grandad have come back for a quick smackerel and a play and then are heading home, before a few of the mums arrive for a nice girly evening. Definitely a wonderful day.
