Red Buds

I have only ever heard of this tree referred to as "red bud" but the blossoms are really magenta. Today we are headed to Santa Fe with friends to see an exhibit by a Victoria Rogers who is a who is a terrific landscape photographer. Also her husband and his jazz trio are playing. They are playing Claude Bowling's suite for flute and jazz piano. I never liked the recording with Jean-Pierre Rampal, but then he could never swing. Maybe Arlen Asher can.
