Spring promise...

Back from holiday and once of the first tasks (after the cases were unpacked and the washing machine on!) was to give the garden some attention with the grass getting its first cut of the season. Thankfully that is the responsibility of hubby! :o)

So with the smell of freshly cut grass tickling my nose I went looking for today's blip. Almost chose a pic of the stripey grass but it was pipped into second place by this snap of the red-barked dogwood as I liked the little flower buds all tightly packed, full of promise of the flowers that will burst forth fairly soon....Spring's promise of the summer to come.

And now that today's blip is done, it must be time for a refreshing G&T. Life is good :o)
