ripples
Up early to catch the flight back to Canada, today.
As we were about to leave, the heavens opened unleashing a tropical shower and the rain created this interesting effect on the swimming pool.
Usually, the pool is pristinely smooth-surfaced at this time of day, but was rudely disturbed this morning. The stools at the swim-up bar, so often the focus of the more raucous behavious at the hotel, are eerily quiet, disturbed by the rapid plip-plop of the raindrops and distorted by the ripples they create as they hit the surface. On the left are splashes from water draining off the roof.
Obviously a metaphor for life here somewhere.
