After getting the 1st train back from london a couple of weeks ago - in between dozing off, I saw a simply amazing sunrise over the open fields of the essex countryside. My camera battery had run out, so I decided to take a wonder up to Hadleigh castle this morning to see if i could catch the colours of those 2 weeks ago with a proper camera on a good vantage point.

The actual sunrise was so-so, but i did learn two things:

1. Sitting on your own in a ruined castle before dawn is seriously creepy!

2. Staring through your view finder as the sun comes up over the horizon hurts...
