Finally got my Redtailed Hawk Shot

These hawks have been lurking around my area taunting me by staying out of range for a decent shot... Finally I have got one...

On a not entirely separate note Little Big Girl and I went to Turtle Back Zoo today. We spent 5 hours there we went around all the whole place twice. We did a train ride, he had 2 pony ride and we went back to feed the farm animals twice as well. We saw black bears, wolves, a little aquarium, reptile house, lots of different birds of prey, cougar, leopard, sheep, horses, bison and lots of others. So many great photos to choose from, getting good shots on quite a few of the places were a challenge... chainlink fences 5 feet behind a wooden fence dont help when it comes to getting good photos.

Little Big Girl was a little disappointed in the car on the way as she asked if there were dolphins there-No, Lions-No, Tigers-No, Elephants-No.... "But they are in the zoo in my book!"

As for how I am sure todays blip is definitely a red tailed hawk... it said so on the sign :-)
