Heart of magnolia

I thought I had taken the last photo of my magnolia but Chiaroscuro suggested I look inside.

After the shower this afternoon, the heart of the bloom, as it falls apart, was even more impressive. Thank you for the reminder, and try her in the larger version.

the tulip colour is still a mystery though

the apple blossom is ripening
