The Walled Garden

Took so many shots at the Castle today, dashing in for a 'cheese scone & soup special' when the torrential April shower chased away the brilliant blue sky. I didn't appreciate this pic as I 'snapped' it in a rush just before the dark cloud spilled over again, but viewing it on the laptop, I love the contrasts . Hope you'll agree.

This is one of the gates in to the walled garden, near the 'hot border' which should provide a good blip when summer is at its height.
