First Day

Today was a bit fraught with first day nerves for Me. I think Wife was suffering from them as well but can not be sure as it could just be her sudden new found freedom taking effect.

Yes today was Baby's first full day of nursery and he did very well. I am sure I was probably just as worried about Toddler on her first day but it does not seem like it. Baby is such a sensitive boy how often needs his Mummy.

Anyway I need not have worried as he was ok, especially considering he has never gone so long away from his Mum and never really been away from either of us for more than an hour or so. He seems to have had lots of fun investigating and playing with the toys and even seems to have made some friends.

When Wife picked him up he was still eating, I think this was probably due to him making cow eyes at a little girl sat with him at the table. We were also told that Toddler had been keeping an eye on her brother and had been popping over to see him every time she went outside to make sure he was ok. She really is a good big sister.

It has clearly been a good day for both of the kids as when I saw them all this evening both of them were very excited and have now both zonked out straight away at bedtime for once.

Lets just see if Baby ends up sleeping any longer after such a day!
