More Pensioner Tales

The quarterly newsletter arrives from the Pensioners Association. There's a golf outing upcoming, a lunch to Kelso (I ask you!) and a trip on the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway. It's all a bit strenuous, even to read through.
High point of today was undoubtedly receiving 25 ackers as my horse won the office sweep for the Grand National. This was not bad given that when I showed up on Friday there was only one horse left available. What was fishier was that the nag belonging to the sweep organiser (an old pal), won second place.
