Summer?

Uh oh - the trusty old barometer shows the peak of the good weather and it's on it's way back down again :o(

I had a nice evening with my son tonight when we had a mutual birthday meal in town and I caught up with all his gossip. He has such a lively life - even though he has no money (and he charmed me into paying of course)!

On the way back home on the train, I bumped into a friend and had a blether for a couple of stops. After he left, I noticed another colleague of mine from around 30 years ago on the same carriage - he was a heavy drinker even then and sadly, it looks as though it has taken its toll.
