Spring time

I was keen to take a photo of the cherry tree in our front garden. This time last week the tree showed just a hint of the emerging blossom. Today it is probabley at it's best and with rain and winds forecast in the next few days the flowers won't last long. a neighbour recently said our tree is always the best in the area and I think he's right- it's a wonderful display. Pity it only lasts a week or two.
