BLMC Special Tool

Most cars have at least one "special tool" listed in their manual. That odd-shaped widget you need to perform a particular odd task. An ordinary spanner won't do, oh no. Occasionally a big hammer can effectively replace special tools but not often. Unless you like pounding your car into new and interesting shapes out of frustration.
