Old v New

Today I have attempted to mix an old subject (cranes) with my newly acquired technique (as taught on blipfoto, which I do not know the name of) - although I believe I could have got the same effect if I had taken this photograph from inside my car.

This time my background is flaky concrete, which is better than the blind material I used yesterday.

It has been a real foggy, dull day today - and very cold!!

On the plus side I was able to take some wonderful shots of the misty canal - without the sun 'barging' into any of them.
