The First Breakfast

So, food has been consumed in the flat for the first time! And the microwave has been used to make a cup of coffee; electric kettles being as rare in Rio as fur coats on the beach. This is our breakfast/dining area; very much a now-you-see-it, now-you-don't affair, as both the table and chairs fold flat against the wall when not in use. The table surface may just be a little bit high, DD will need to test it. Whatever, having stuff in the fridge and some biscuits and cereal in the storage jars does make the place seem more real. Will buy some eggs later to test the cooker and egg cups tomorrow!
