Birth

Isabelle took us back to Magalassou to see the calf that had been born at lunchtime. Down the children's favourite road, where, if you sit on the left hand side of the car you are in the commune of Mirepoix, and on the right hand side, the commune of Lafage - straddling borders.
We cicumnavigated the contentious 'nids de poules' (neither commune will take responsibilty and fill them) and on to the farm.
A new calf, new lambs and the newest lamb the children had ever seen. We waited until the mother had cleaned him and he got onto his feet and found his milk.
