Just one daffodil

Back in February, I showed you a shot of these bulbs that were just starting to poke their heads out of the ground. Well, 2 months on, only one of them flowered so I think the whole lot might be dug up shortly - what a disappointment. Although the one that has flowered is rather pretty, don't you agree?

Have spent the day at a CILIP briefing in London on RDA - geeky library stuff if that sentence didn't mean anything to you. It was actually very interesting, for those library-geeks amongst us, but I won't bore you with the details. Suffice to say that the lunch was superb, although I think CILIP should consider reducing the quality of the lunch and thereby their fees, rather than serving up a hot two course meal at their events. Seems a bit over the top in this day and age.

Still, it saves me from having to cook tonight - poached eggs on toast coming up, which for anyone who knows me will know is one of my very favourite things in the whole wide world!
