Deep fried WHAT?!

Today has been perfect! We drove up to the Cairn O' Mount to show my Aussie visitor the Scottish countryside.... And believe it or not it was actually sunny! Albeit freezing and super windy. But that's not the point.

We then headed down to Stonehaven via a HIGHLY scenic route through Auchenblae (I think we met a grand total of 3 cars, a tractor and 3 very brave/ insane cyclists on the 17 mile journey), to hunt down an illusive Scottish delicacy, the disgustingly greasy slab of battered nougaty doom deep-fried mars bar.

Sadly the chip shop boasting said delicacy was not due to open for another 2 hours, so instead we headed to Dunottar castle and sunbathed down by the beach until we lost track of time.

2 hours later, we headed homewards with a very happy Aussie and an exhausted dog (seagulls - enough said).
