Captain's Logbook

Calle de Ferraz

On the edge of the opera district near the Palazio Real its a busy commercial area, but very nice. There is so much to see and do. I decided to blip this rather than the Palace (very impressive, modelled on Versailles) or tons of other stuff.

This is a block of flats with commercial use (shops, cafe/bars etc.) on the ground floor. Nothing out of the ordinary about that, but what struck me was that this style of architecture seemed to be so Spanish. Gaudi was designing apartment blocks like this , (but even more elaborate) in Barcelona.

Lovely hot day today, big breakfast at the crack of 11am. Mooching and blipping between pit stops in café's. Leisurely Tapas lunch at 2pm - 4pm. Stagger back to hotel to check out new room with window and twice the size - well done Mrs W.

Edit pics, snooze, post blip, ready to wander off to flamenco club.

Busy, busy, busy.
