Early evening Eastbourne

Busy fun-packed British holiday-style day which included a fine mix of swimming, football, crazy golf, fish and chips, ice-cream and a theme park.

Am so happy to be writing about a good day after turning up at the first, recommended adventure park and finding it had gone into administration. Thank goodness for access to t'internet. My parents would have been stuffed.

Two tired children on our early evening stroll where this was taken. Though one still determined to eek as much football playing out of the day before some football watching later. Don't know how he'll stay awake but I bet he does.

The other is tired so we've had to retire to the bar for drawing and blipping. It's a hard knock life for us.*

Today can't pass without a very warm welcome to the world to my new nephew, born this morning.
