Blossom

Our pals K&A bought this cherry blossom for Robin nearly a year ago. So that each year when it blossomed he could look out into the garden and smile and think of his dad. It was such a thoughtful gift.

And bizarrely and unknown to them, it was exactly what Jim did when someone he loved passed away, he planted a tree. I remember we were sitting in his garden talking about if we were a tree, what would we be. He said Robin would be a Douglas Fir - tall and strong - and I would be an oak - wise.

I can't believe nearly a year has gone by. What a lovely man he was, I'm so honoured to have known him.
