Mount Doom Borders Athens?

Saw this shot on my way to class tonight. It made me giggle because it honestly looks a bit like Mount Doom of Mordor from Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings'. And the colors were pretty. Long, but uneventful day.

EDIT: the only thing i did to this picture was crop it. No color retouching was done. This is all Mother Nature. I'm just her part-time photographer. :)

The girl cringed. One of the main guys whispered something to the one in a baseball cap. He seemed to consider for a moment, then whispered something back. The girl kept walking, attempting to ignore the growing fear in her gut. One of the guys in a gray hoodie broke off from the group and began walking towards the girl. She kept her pace steady. Never show fear. Never.
