Pleasure Boat Peak Hour....

This is taken from the balcony at Killcare...An hour north of Sydney.
Today the ex HMAS Adelaide was scuttled a kilometre off shore at Avoca...just around the headland....It's to be used as a dive wreck and for marine research....The scuttling was postponed for an hour and a half because the local Dolphins were feeding on bait fish metres away....She finally went down within 2 minutes...
The armada of boats going to watch was amazing...hundreds and hundreds....The procession continued for hours,not to mention the thousands of onlookers that lined the coastline...
And a glorious Autumn day....
