Ski on the Kern above Val d'Isere

Big refreeze last night after the warm and wet yesterday...great sunny morning.

We went to the Kern on Bellevarde...It was the first time of the season...The snow was very hard but it was possible to ski...the last few days the snow was just supporting...to day it's a little icy but perfect.

I choose this picture because you can see Val d'Isere village...the mountain on the left is the sunny side...without snow...on the right shadow side with enough snow for the French school holidays .Every body is happy.

We are on Bellevarde , the mountain on the right is Solaise and you can see the pistes in the trees (Melezes)
One of these piste was the woman downhill at the last world championship last year...

We ski all the morning on very good spring snow...again Crete de Genepy and Marmotton.
