Zed

Meet Zed, he's a bit of a spinner. Yes, spinning is what he does best.

Sadly, Zed didn't perform well today. He spun left, he spun right, but he didn't catch any fish. Well that's not true. He just didn't catch the right sort of fish. Well, he did catch one small salmon and a few other species, but none were kept.

We took Zed on a road trip to the Rangitata River today in stunning conditions. The river was perfect, the water colour was perfect, the weather was perfect. And there were lots of fish. We saw many caught, we saw dozens jumping, but none jumped on our lines.

Never mind, it was a brilliant day, the beer was cold, and we're going back tomorrow ;-)
