Lunar Eclipse
Lucky for me, the skies were clear and the eclipse wasn't super late or super early (10pm!). However clear skies in the the winter means it's insanely cold, so I didn't last long outside. One of my classmates actually got hypothermia from photographing the moon yesterday...not good.
Fortunately I realized I could see the moon from the dining room (which has a whole wall of big windows facing towards the moon). So I spent almost a full hour lying on the floor watching the moon and taking pictures. It was amazing.
