Easter Bonnet

Wiltshire Mind Easter Party today and I decided to make an Easter Bonnet as we had a lady from the Bridal shop coming to judge. On Monday I had started to make the hat using some crepe paper and the bunnies and chicks, only to feel that it was such a mess that I pulled it all off to start again. So last night sat with all the bits and pieces and sewed them all on to the hat.

I didn't win a prize but was beaten by two fellas, one who had got a green cap and put bunny ears on it, the other was a straw hat and had decorated it with flowers and a nest on the top with chicks {not real ones} in, the winner was a straw hat with a nest with chicks and chocolate. It was a pleasant afternoon anyway.
