Went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park with Daughter Rose today to see the new and recent work by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa. The exhibition includes a curtain of poetry made of suspended steel letters, large illuminated sculptures in the landscape, and engraved gongs that you can strike to fill the gallery with sound. A bit of a big hitter was told off for whacking one too hard, and crikey was it loud!
