Marjorie's ramblings

The most beautiful blossom.....

There are many contenders for this title and this is one of my all time favourites. It is Spiraea Bridal Wreath. It produces long elegant stems with these tiny flowers all over them and it is an early one to bloom in our garden. The time of pruning is crucial - you prune after flowering and not in the autumn. I have to make sure that my helpful gardener does not touch it then!

Apologies for the lack of blips of a couple of days - been very busy. You can see a few of my mono attempts from my day on Lindisfarne by going to my Blipfolio and the Lindisfarne link.
