Nan's glasses

My dear old Nan has recently moved to a residential home, and we're in the process of clearing out and selling her previous home. These sparkly 60s glasses remind me of childhood Christmases, when snowballs were served in them. I don't recall them ever being used since.

Someone today asked me; "why do old ladies always have cupboards full of glasses that they never ever use"? My Nan is no exception.

I was wondering how best to take the shot so as to avoid all the clutter in the background, and this view from above seemed best. It gives the glasses an abstract feel, so that it's not immediately apparent what they are.
