A gloomy day...

Thought I would blip this gull tonight as we had an identical one brought into work today which had been found being played with by a cat. Poor little thing was obviously stunned, with no other obvious injuries to his wings or legs.

I fed him with a syringe (he was young and opened his mouth to be fed) and he was relatively calm and pleased to eat.... but within an hour he had died.... must have all been too much for him.

I know he was only a seagull, but it made me so sad, I would have loved to have seen him fly back into the wild. RIP little gull : (
