no cheese please!

Arlo's never been a child that automatically smiles for the camera. From an early age, he'd see a camera and take on the persona of an ancient Native American Indian - eyeing it suspiciously as though it was about to steal his soul.

After he started at nursery he developed this habit of saying 'cheese' as soon as a camera came anywhere near him which gave him another 'photo face' but not one that was particularly natural, or even smiley. Whenever he'd had enough of the camera in his face he would shout 'no more cheese, no cheese please'. Which, of course, made me take even more pictures whilst cackling away.

Anyway, today I figured it was time to practice smiling for the camera - he's got loads of photo opps coming up (Eve's party on Saturday, the 9000 photos he'll have taken when the baby comes and his own birthday early May). We got a few cheesey ones here and there which are lovely, but this was my favourite.

This boy cracks me up.
