Shoes - an exercise in avoidance

This picture of a collection of shoes is more than it seems. It's an exercise in avoidance and self-restraint. I was going to put up a photo that would have seen me baring my soul a little. But I decided not to. Boring for everyone else, not actually that good for me. So shoes it is!
