Common Dog Violets, near Drumsmittal on the Black Isle.
They are tiny, delicate, and easily overlooked. I suspect the small blotches on the upper one are caused by the sun shining through water droplets. The droplets may act like mini-magnifying glasses, resulting in small burnt spots... though I could be totally wrong. I'm an engineer, not a botanist!
