Puppy Class!
This is me at my puppy class. Next to me is Bailey, then Sam, then Daisy (my best labrador friend) then Boomer. He is much older than me thats why he is sooo big. There are lots of other puppies as well as these. There is a beautiful Pointer called Kerris and she has the looooongest legs. I wish we had her in the picture. There is also a tiny little Beagle who looks like Deputy Dog, he barks a lot and so does Sam the collie. My teacher is called Jane. She is lovely and smells sooooooo good :-)
Guess what. Tonight was my last class and I PASSED! Mum is so proud of me and Daddy came all the way home from where he is working away just to watch and take pictures of me. He said he is very proud of me too. I got given a certificate and a lovely purple rosette. I carried my certificate all the way back to the car without dropping it. I was going to put a picture of me doing that but I really wanted you to see me behaving in class!
I can now:
Sit and stay
Lie Down and stay
Walk to heel (when there is nothing to chase!)
Zig zag in and out of the other puppies without stopping to play
Sit and wait whilst mum opens an imaginary gate, let her walk through first, then sit and wait whilst she closes the gate
Stay at one end of the hall whilst mum runs away, then go to her when she calls me
Sit and wait patiently whilst mum walks past, stops and has a chat with another puppy's owner
Instantly lie down when mum tells me whilst we are walking along (a bit like an emergency stop mum said!)
Meet another doggie and not try and play
Meet another person I don't know and be nice to them
Give up my toy when asked (well.... sometimes!)
I am so glad that I passed and mum is proud of me because I have been a little rascal today! This morning a package arrived addressed just to me! Inside was a FANTASTIC pink piggy that honks. It was from my lovely Family Manners (Granny, Grampy, Aunty Beth and Uncle Shaun). I ran around and around and around with it in my mouth and playing with it for agggeeeessss. The only thing is that I got a bit carried away and now he doesn't honk anymore. I still love having a good chew on it though. Mum says that toys don't last 5 minutes with me. I can't help it mum, I just LOVE to play :-)
I also had a lovely run in the field with a Whippet called Fizz. She was soooooo fast, she ran and ran and ran and ran so I ran and ran and ran and ran after her but phew in the end I got dizzy and tired out so I just lay in the middle of the field whilst she ran and ran and ran around us! It was really funny. She was madder than me!
I'm very tired now and off to bed. Especially because I have had to type this twice, the first time something happened and I lost all my work ;-(
Night night everyone
