A subtle hint of spring

This is a picture of a flower emerging from the ground visible from my kitchen window. I forgot I planted these bulbs late last fall on an unusually warm day. I'm unsure of what this flower actually is but after looking at images online I believe it is sibirica. Whatever it is I'm grateful for it's beauty surfacing among the drabness of the early spring landscape.
