After the race
Bad do tonight.
I gave my 5d2 to a pal to use with a wider lens whilst I used my older 450 with a 70-200 f4.
Once the race was underway I realised we would really struggle to get usable shots with the light so poor, but I was unable to let my pal know he needed to up the ISO. So he got zero sellable shots with the camera that could possibly have managed something worthwhile at a really high film speed if only he'd known - and I got zero sellable shots with the 450 maxed out anyway.
Hopefully a little bit of something was salvaged with some OKish shots of people as they finished (and therefore weren't moving much any more) and it made a change to scan the ever growing crowd for shots of people cheering their clubmates home
Lesson learned? - run the bloody race myself next year.
